I've been using the cost effective maintenance clean power in my TD5 since 1 tank after I got the vehicle - but only 3,000km in total. Didn't notice any fuel economy benefit, It has made the vehicle run smoother, in my opinion, but the TD5 had other typical issues - oil in ECU harness which, when cleaned up, made more of a difference.

8L per 100klms.....err, that's pretty tidy for what is a somewhat heavy vehicle with the aerodynamics of a house brick. I generally average 10 to 10.5 in my auto Td5 and that includes a mixture of some highway and town driving.....best I ever got on a long highway trip on cruise control resulting in 9.2L per 100klms at 110 klm/hr. (and I had to check that twice!).

    Cheers
    Mick
