I saw a D2 with approx 25-30mm spacers on the other day. These were machined discs drilled to stud pattern. Was quoted $1600 for this service.?
1) $1600? You've got to be joking.:o
2) Buy another set of rims.;)
3) Lots of other bits and pieces to spend money on.:p
cheers

We haven't had it long and now I am laid up after a knee op. But the one trip we have done it went realy well, the 130 can handle the weight, the old setup we had on the back weight in at 4 tonne when we did the Old Telegraph Road. Blew a CV on the way, pulled out front diff CV's ect: silicone in half tennis ball to keep the oil in and did half the Telegraph Track on the reat locker. I think the camper weights about 500kg, wich hopefully this time we can keep the vehicle aroud the 3500kg. Also when the boat is not coming with us we slide the camper forward and put the tyre on the roof (the tyres are too wide for the bonnet now).
The Defender dose go very well its had the ECU chipped, larger intercooler, exhaust mod, K&N, EGR Bypass and boost turned up
Here's a couple of shots of the old setup doing it's thing in two wheel drive plus the repair
