theres a couple of ways of getting it out, I prefer to use a seal hook.
Hi,
My D2 flexible coupling needed replacing badly. Truck was pinging and dinging.
Bought a full kit to replace the rubber coupling.
The kit also came with a seal/bush (part no. STC2932) for the rear propellor shaft.
I am having troubles removing the old seal.
I have searched everywhere including the rave cd and still cannot find any info about this seal.
Have anyone removed this bush/seal easily before?
Thanks.

Soak it in penetrating oil, then stick it in a vice, put 1 leg of a slide hammer in it, then wedge in a flat bladed screwdriver to hold it in, and wallop it !!!comes out easy peasy.
Piccy below shows same "setup" but its on the propshaft centering bearing, but it works the same on the prop bush..
