Looks good to me.
Its the S and they were the entry range.
Get it checked over and who knows, thats probably a very good price but u may have to spend a tad on it like oil in harness etc but if paying low, u can spend a bit to trick it up and get right.

I like white Discos, they look great, so does the rare blue colour but thats personnal

The price certainly appears to be very good. I could be wrong but I think it was listed at $18,000 a couple of weeks ago. A complete and well documented service history is crucial with that sort of milage (actually, any milage).

After 209,000km's it is highly likely that the injector harness, SLS airbags (it could have coils) fuel regulator etc have already been done. If the owner is really a Discovery fanatic he should be able to give you specific info relating to his car on these items. Don't forget to ask if the oil pump bolt has been checked.

Even if the above items haven't been done it could still be good value especially if you can do some of the work yourself and source parts online and you could use it as a bargaining tool to negotiate an even better price although you may be competing with other buyers now that the price is so low.

It has the wheels that come with the 5 seat models so it probably isn't a seven seater.

Can anyone tell me the differences between trim level specs?
I tried to look for them on the net but only found D3 etc...

S- Basic form-cloth, no sunroof, 16inch wheels etc
SE- Maybe leather- maybe sunroof, air suspension, maybe upgraded radio, air suspension, twin air-con, cd stacker
HSE- has the lot

It is not an "S" as they have 7 seats in the D2A layout. Just a pov pack but the price is good and don't worry too much about the k's

7 seats and pov pack is fine.
Gonna have a look at it on Tuesday... the milage doesn't worry me too much as long as it has been looked after and I think it has.

Anything obvious I should look out for?

I'm just wondering if you checked that Disco out. It is no longer for sale. Did you buy it?

Naah... didn't even get a look.

The guy was stuck overseas on the day I was supposed to see it and then he had a family misfortune so he took off the market. If he decides to sell it later he has my number so I still might get a look.

I am still looking for a good D2 but I am not in a rush as I will be moving house after Chrissy, then I have my government sponsored holiday at bootcamp Kapooka... but sometime this year I need to replace the Flandie.
