Hi Shamirj
I would start with the fob batteries as a start point , even though the light flashes the battery may not have enough strength to transmit.after installing new battery in fob make sure vehicle is unlocked then stand close to drivers door press the lock button on fob for up to 10 seconds so that the central locking and the fob can re synchronize and the doors should lock,if this happens unlock and re lock 2 or 3 more times just to make sure also check fuse which is fuse #1 (top fuse left hand column ) under dash 25 amp.
hope this helps
Tony
