Thread: Wheel Lock Nuts

I did exactly what scarry did. My locknut bolt was cracked so i replaced them before I had to do it in the bush!!!

My mate Howie owns a wrecking yard in a Brisbane suburb, 5 acres. He has it listed for sale. Will be town houses, villas, units, whatever. 55 years a wrecking yard. His tenant has seen the writing on the wall and given notice and is cleaning up to give possession as required. I found a set of 7" x 15" mags to suit my Falcon ute which has 6" x 14. NO NUTS!! Asked about the nuts and why they didn't duct tape the nuts to the wheels. Answer- We sell nuts but nobody wants to pay a fair price for mags. Most go in the scrap bin eventually. The few that sell are mostly to replace damaged ones and normally sell singly.

This business was turning over a staggering sum when in full flow. It needs to as the land is worth near $8,000,000.
