I considered doing it to mine. The hardest part would be convincing a wrecker to remove the chassis harness, as I had several refusals even though it is quite simple. You would then need to extract the sensor and compressor wires unless the harness was an exact match for your configuration. Airbags, sensors and compressor costs could mount up.Quote:

IIRC there are different chassis wiring harness part numbers for ACE and non-ACE vehicles (& more combinations with and without SLS) so I would not expect the accelerometer wiring to normally exist.
Its too big a job in my books, knowing what I do about ACE, unless you are stripping out your dash and have access to the donor vehicle.
Isnt it simpler to fit a strong detachable swaybar, with remote access? Probably cheaper and money can be poured into suspension, steering damper, or polyairs.
the ACE system is pretty well sorted i think, the only ones we have go wrong are the pumps are noisy and leak,, and the front ram leaks at the seal, that's it,
i think its alot more reliable then the new dynamic response,;) all tho no were near as good, and a completely different sys
Well I think I will be looking for one with the ACE, if I don't end up with it I will be upgrading springs shocks steering damper and spacers in the SLS.
With a 2 " lift do I need camber or caster adjustment?

Lifting a live axle Disco won't alter the camber (in any meaningful way). A 2 inch lift probably won't require castor correction either.Quote:
