    Weird trailer light on dash

Could anyone shed any light on why my D2a should suddenly start having the trailer direction indicator green light going on in conjunction with my normal indicators? It has only just happened today. I did have an ARB deluxe winch bar fitted yesterday, but all indicators are still working normally. It's a bit strange!!!!!

Thats they way it should be

The bull bar will have lights fitted to it and the system is picking up the axtra load.
Only one side worked on mine when I got it, blowen bull bar indicater light.
Easy to check the lights are working now
    Cheers, Kyle

Firstly, this is normal, the extra current draw due to the extra indicators in the new bull bar triggers the trailer indicator coming on. To stop it happening, you can use a lower wattage globe. From memory ARB fit 20W globes, if you change them to 5W, they are still visible, but won't trigger the trailer indicator.

As above - 5W bulbs or LED will fix it.

I like mine the way it is, I picked up that the ind. wire had broken when it didn't flash

LED would be my choice if I changed.
5W globes are tail light stregth and IMO not bright enough during the day.Be seen be safe.

Or a new steel rear bar with LEDs...

edit - oops sorry. D2a.. probably won't fix the problem as you have high indicators. You'll need another excuse to get a steel rear bar...

The benefits of being in a forum! The trailer light just started coming on and it was sending me bonkers! Just so happens that I got a new bullbar installed the other day and simply didnt put 2 and 2 together. Cheers!!!!!
