In dealing with dealers who have no idea what they are selling, I think the best way to tell if a disco was ACE is to ask them about the fill point near the power steering.
In the attached photo the to cap bottle on the wright of the engine bay the ACE res'
You were on the money with your first comment, if it has ACE fitted the brake fluid reservoir instead of having one cap has two as in your picture. 1/2 for ACE fluid and 1/2 for brake fluid. The dealer should be able to pop bonnet and quickly tell. As for the sway bar i am not sure.
