Thread: D2 headlight upgrade

I did the conversion to my ’99 a while ago – personal choice - and only the sharpest of disco fan would pick it – once pointed out you can see the grill. The lights are a lot better than the 99-02, I thought about fitting HIDs but settled on Osram +80s and relays. The rewire took a lot longer than the body work, probably because I really took my time to get it neat, and the addition of relays takes time. But I now have great lights


There is no way I would do it if I could not get the plug for the back of the new lights, I was lucky to pick lights up for bugger all and they cut the loom and gave me the plugs.

Ah c'mon....of course if you change your lights to look like a D2a....your a wannabee.......all cool........we are flattered . Now off to get my David Beckham haircut.......
