    Thumbs up Spare Tire Relocator

Saw this on the British Parts of Utah website.

Thought it was a good idea instead of having to invert & cut the spare wheel carrier.

    Lets you mount a 265/75 x 16. There's 2 x different models listed for the D2 and 1x for the D1.

I agree. The hardest part is taking the trim off the back door to get at the nuts. It took me 20 mins with 2 people.

why not let the air out of the tyre.

they go flat on the bottom dont they, surely that should let you mount a tyre thats 6-8 inches larger.

I think the cut refers to the rear wiper, it will hit the carrier if you flip it and dont chop a bit out

Theres a fix for that, you just undo the nut on the wiper, pull it out of the splines and adjust it up a few splines to it doesn't come down as far and won't hit the wheel carrier.
