And apart from all the comments made, who in there right mind would not run crush cans behind there bars when the option is there:confused:, Why allow the chassis to take all the brunt:confused:, be it the air bags go off or not stuff having to re straighten a rail or two + what ever else the impact has moved.
Approx $200 per can to replace,(and) I have hit a bank on approch and had to remove the bar and straighten the mounts, if the cans were not there it would have been the chassis and probably radiator.(it was driver error on a tricky track).
So sure wack the bar on if you like the look, its up to the individual, but dont pretend its a great structural design and especially not for the off rd environment.
No insults intended.
