    Talking finally got a D2 some probs need help

    Hi all i have finally got my disco 2 ES V8 and like all d2s have the 3 amigos on. Does anyone know where i can buy a code reader/clearer from and how much the cost or anyone southside of brisbane that can do it other than a dealer and how much.
    Also it has the 18" wheel option and want to put 16s on with BFG AT on. Can get my hands on a set of old vouge rims will they fit. included in pics.

    first mods after it gets regod
    ARB winchbar, snorkle (v8 needs cold air), Looking at making an electronic actuator for the CDL and an exhaust.

    If you don't want to buy one check out the Electronics Diagnostic map for someone close to you who could help. You might also want to check out my recent visit from the "3 Amigos" http://www.aulro.com/afvb/electronic...d-nanocom.html go to page two. Also check out The Good Oil and do a search for more info. This is a common isssue & you won't really know what is causing it until you use a diagnostic unit. If you have a multimeter you can test the ABS modulator as shown in the post.

    Have you read up on here about the 3 amigos,

    may people have repaced ABS sensors on the wheels to find it is the SVS valve in the ABS modulator

    it may show up as a ABS sensor at the wheel with low pressure, From, what I have read this sensor has registered correctly as the SVS has failed- please correct if I am wrong

    Wheels from early Range Rover or Discovery 1 will not fit a D2. P38 Range Rover and D2 wheels will.

    cheers for the advice fellas. bugger about the wheels but you get that.
    I think il start with giving every thing a flush through and see how it goes.
    As for the code reader was looking at the hawkeye system but shal see what happens.
