    rear passenger door lock

    I have a rear passenger door lock in a TD5 not coming off.
    I think the solenoid is O.K. it will lock,but not unlock.
    I can unlock manually from the lever but not from the key fob or drivers door lock.

    Only one door affected.

    any ideas much appreciated.

    our td5 needs to have the unlock button pressed 3 times to unlock the right hand rear passenger door unlocked . Try this.

    It's almost certainly the wires that pass through the rubber bit into the door. I have had to fix the wire on both rear doors now. The wire just breaks with all the flexing. They both went within 6 months of each other.
