I recently put the SLS lift in and put on Bilstein's that are built for a 2 inch lift. Cannot remember the serial numbers, but there is a post in the forum where someone posted up the correct ones.
I have recently installed spacers at the rear of my SLS D2V8 to give a 50mm lift (actually more like 60mm) and believed extended shocks were not required.
That is unless using off road mode which gives an extra 40mm lift.
The shocks tend to top out quite easily when this high. At least I think that's what was causing the noise.
What are others installing for this type of set up (rear only, the front seems okay)?
Also, what type and from where?
Cheers,
Alan

I now understand that the Bilstein shock I am after is a BE5-B995 in Australia, or a BE5-6248-H5 in the US.
Has anyone had any joy with the US part - the US price looks good if they are the same thing.![]()

heymate had the same prob cheap answer is lovells from shano at suspension stuff slacks creek feee delievery too i think
Shocks for Air suspension will be different to coil… although basically the same they must be valved differently to account for the lack of resistance in the upward motion of an air spring. So the part numbers recommended for a coil D2 will not really suit.
