    Smoky air con

    Hi all,

Wonder if anyone has had this happen and if they can offer a cause\fix.

Went to start up the D2 yesterday and starting getting thick smoke coming in through the air vents. The smoke smelled very strongly of electrical components burning out. This all stopped when the air con was quickly turned off.

I then turned off the fan by setting the air con to economy mode and setting the fan to off. This then allows the controls to work with the fan off so at least it can be proven that that part is working ok.

All this seems to point to the fact that it may be a blower failure. Thoughts anyone?
