My nanocom has issues with my computor
Hey all ,i was luckily enough to get one of the very last nanocom in the country there where none on the east coast so went west they only had a few left ,,i recieved it last friday registered ect got the codes ect nanocom works fine when just connected to the disco (still alot to learn) but when i connect car 2 nano 2 computor my computor says down the bottom of the computor on the black nanocom.exe page nanocom not connected i have tracked done the com and its com9.When i go into device manager the section where it say nanocom diagonistic tool it has a big yellow ? mark next to it ,i have unistalled the program reinstalled and in my mind tried everything
can anyone help me on this thanks

need to make sure the nanocom is not in instrument or trip mode first

what windows are you running ?

so it needs to be in normal mode
i am running xp at home and vista at work and the same happens on both

yeah needs to be in normal mode. oh and connected to the car with ignition on.

do you know how to update drivers through device manager and manually point them to the installation cd for the nanocom ?

mine does not come with a cd as rovacraft says its all downloadable from nanacom website

ahuh, you will need the usb drivers for the nanocom. thats your problem, no usb drivers. i think they do go into the c:\program files\nanocom folder. click on update drivers and point it to there.
otherwise the usb drivers are available as a seperate download from nanocom direct in the software download section.
