    Fault code help (again)

I have a D2 TD5 i installed a nice big shiney intercooler a VNT turbo and egt gauge also removed inlet manifold for acid clean wow was that caked with sludge

okay all went back okay but i am reading air-flow (intermit) fault
and the usaul suspect since i removed the egr egr valve stuck open

can someone help me find tghe cause of air-flow (intermit) checked all connections to maf nanocom says maf is running good at idle sits around 56

and secondly is there any way of stopping the egr fault apearing the whole time suppose its not that much of a issue

    thanks Kelvin

    Hi Kelvin,

I never got the EGR fault...but then again, I ripped out EVERYTHING, including all the vacuum switches etc behind the coolant reservoir. I didnt get MAF either.

What I do get, is turbo overboost (easy), but the one I dont understand yet is "driver input error 1 - intermittent" (or something like that). I thought TPS, but I have replaced the throttle assembly, and fault still appears.

How does it run? Mine still like a dog....waiting for some Tombie magic to hopefully fix the problem.

mine seems to run fine , only problems been the air flow and removing a airlock from the cooling system but airlock almost done if not done

just wanna get down to the bottom of air flow circuit (intermit) fault

thanks but i am way up Qld
    Maf has been tested
could it be the massive sucking power of the VNT which is causing it to fault

Any help on this will be helpfully please guys
maf has been disconected replacement maf tried all wiring checked over

could the VNT be causing this by trying to suck more air than can be supplied

so i observed to day when i put the computor onto the nanocom the air flow would peak up to 650,00 then suddenly return to 000,00 and the fault will be created by that so does this mean the turbo is sucking all the air and maxing out the MAF which is causing it to fault
    cheers Kelvin

Im not sure its related....but I know TD5 Alive do a MAF "bypass hose" to try and solve a problem with their "larger charger". It looks dodgy as,think I have a pick somewhere......

    ...here it is......

Apparently TD% ALive " use at the moment a bypass hoes which lets some air go into the engine without passing the maff."....

becuase..."Hybrid turbo and tune running on
my Td5 it is causing the MAF sensor to go out of range (causing
intermitent fuel cut at high RPM) and that an uprated MAF will fix
    this?"
