Unlock codes not recognised by Nanocom

    Hi All,
Have obtained unlock codes for the Nanocom as I need to look at SLABS and BCU function on the V8. Entered them through the PC, progress bar indicated all was well, I can see them by scrolling through the Nanocom menu but when I try to look at SLABS or BCU faults the response is that the unlock codes need to be entered.
I haven't connected to the vehicle yet but can't see how that should make any difference.
    Any hints?
    TIA
    Steve

OK, two steps forward, one step back...
Found one unlock code duplicated in the 6 licenses. Not sure if it was my error, but fixed it in remote mode, checked, and still no unlock codes recognised - aargh. By accident almost, I noticed that the incorrect code had not simply been overwritten - it appeared as the next licence code in the list. Corrected them down to number 6 and then I'm talking to the SLABS and BCU as I wished.
Cleared all of my SLS faults, went for a quick drive and tried to re-read them but now "unable to communicate with ECU" message! BCU seems OK.
I'm happy to have been able to program in a new key, but would like my SLABS back!
Is this the bad earth fault?

    Cheers,
    Steve
