    Hawkeye Diagnostic

    Has anybody used the Hawkeye Diagnostic system

    I am looking to buy and just want to know how useful it is, especially in resetting the abs light

    I sorted out my father-in-law with one before he did his big trip around aust. He now swears by it and reckons he wouldn't go anywhere without it. It resets the 3 amigos etc.

    What vehicle for?

    If D2 (either Td5 or V8) or Defender (either Td5 or Puma), Nanocom Evolution is my preference by far (own both HawkEye and Nanocom).

    If you own any other LR vehicle then HawkEye is the way to go since it can do all LR vehicles (just need to buy the appropriate license).

    Thanks for the reply, I didn't think the Nanaocom could be used for the V8, perhaps I will have to do more research

    It couldn't initially, but a recent upgrade added modules for SRS, Autobox and Motronic Engine Management (D2 V8).

    Also believe modules for other LR vehicles are currently under development.
