    Purchasing a hawkeye on the gold coast

    I am bringing the family over from NZ to the gold coast for a holiday and was hoping to grab a hawkeye for my disco 2 td5 as they are not available in NZ and for special order they wanted $1400.
    I can't import one as anything over NZ$400 attracts lots of duty.
    Does anyone know if there is anywhere in close proximity to the gold coast that sells them?

    not especially wedded to hawkeye but if i order direct from BBS i will need to pay GST as its over $400 and all the extra hassle that entails. I was hoping to get something in aus and use the tourist GST refund scheme to get it even cheaper.

    How about getting BBS to ship to an address in Aus so you can collect while you are here? It seems to take less than a week so if you know where you'll be the logistics shouldn't be too bad.
