Nanocom Evo Updating
Those that have owned a Nanocom Evolution for some time will know that BBS has thankfully provided quite regular and free firmware / software updates for it.
We have also gone to great lengths to ensure that upgrading a Unit is as simple and easy as possible.
It is of course in every owners best interest to ensure their unit is right up to data and learn how to upgrade it.
In fact in supplying units as fast as possible to purchasers from our stock, we attach a note to the additional transit protection plate advising new owners that the first thing they should do is upgrade their units, as it is not uncommon for stock units to not be on the latest version or for us to release an upgrade while a unit is in transit.
Performing this simple task has however never been more so important as we have discovered that the software version programmed into some units by our production department has a corruption causing errors in accessing some items in the menu.
As long as new owners do fully and properly follow our advice and instruction to upgrade the unit, they will not be affected by this at all.

Thanks for the advice and general reminder Colin.
I've had my Mk1 Evo for some time and although I have been aware that there has been a few software updates, I haven't got around to uploading any of them at all.
So the question now arises ............... If I now do an update, am I correct in assuming that it will contain all the previous ones or do I have to upload each update separately?
TIA
Roger

The updates replace the existing firmware, so you only need to install the current version. BBS only have the two most recent versions available for download on the :: Nanocom :: site.
