    Nanocom ordered, Bunbury WA, need a mentor

    hi,
    just ordered a nanocom evo for a Discovery TD5. I'm currently searching for a suitable late model TD5 and want to be able to interrogate any fault codes as part of my checks before purchase. So I'm serious about handing over come cash for the right car in the near future.

    If anyone around here knows how to drive these things it will be a help to get me through the initial unfamiliarity, and if I buy a TD5 Disco as planned then I will register on the map on this site. Will be happy to help out locals or travellers in need.

    But If I buy something else (like a series 3) I will be looking at selling the Nanocom via this website's for-sale forum.

    Hi I have a td5 with 3 faults on the dash. It is abs. Hill descent and traction control. I live in Australind if you need a test subject

    sounds like a real live candidate Ivan. Although I might be flying blind unless someone else nearby can help me interpret the instructions. The unit has just been posted so give about 10 days and we can organise something.

    its here, that was quick. I'm glad they ship with DHL, its reassuring that my new toy was fully track-able on its trip.
    I had a play, setup the unlock codes etc, had a browse, downloaded everything and had a quick read. This is an amazing bit of gear and dealing with Nanocom / Black Box Solutions was as simple as it gets.

    Just need to buy a TD5 now....
