    Testbook Cables

I bought a second hand Testbook but no cables came with it. Can anyone provide me with the circuits for the cables - especially the one to connect to a 99MY Defender TD5 - or tell me where I can obtain it/them?

Also, it is missing the power supply. I am assuming it is 12V DC with the centre pin positive?

    Thanks

    Howard

i can help out with software but i don't have any spare cables. the short vehicle adaptor cables (blue, green, grey, etc) are still available, but the main lead and brick are not there is a guy in Germany who says he can make them but it is expensive. do you have the CD caddy and any software? i used to work for Trinity Landrover is it their old Testbook? i think they do run on 12v, but be careful as they have an internal unit to step down to 5v which is easily damaged. for more info ring me on 0421 509083 or email sandbanks_tramp @yahoo.co.uk
if you want to sell it please let me know.

You will need to have at least 2 items, the extension cable that plugs into socket 1 and the VCSI (Brick) that plugs into that.

I have been given a number of Testbook cables/interfaces including a few of the DTC0006A "bricks" which are available for those that might need some. There is not a complete collection of cables or interfaces.
