Thread: Bearmach Puma software

Don't suppose anyone out there has Bearmach software for 07+ Puma Defender , or are they well and truly locked up?

It sounds like you already have a Hawkeye you are wanting to use for the 07 Puma defender Rick
As with our faultmate MSV-2 and Nanocom systems, i think you need to purchase the additional licence code at least from them. Then you may need to upgrade your Hawkeyes software and that may be a problem for you, as unlike our equipment the Hawkeye requires you to buy additional leads in order to upgrade it.

I have the greatest repect for the Hawkeye, as i believe it is the only other diagnostic equipment on the market that was entirely self developed. Ie they did not copy us. And there are cases where i happily recommend it as the best option to suit certain circumstances.

But i really do not agree in their hiding the cost requirements of additional leads and not providing a proper list of exactly what access capability the system provides.

I advise you to check with them in respect of what additional leads you will require to completely cover all systems on the Puma Defender as well as upgrade your Hawkeye's software.
