    iodb2 reader

    hello gents,

curios whether someone has tried the iobd2 reader for the iPhone.

    iobd2-|?

Thought it would be pretty cool if I could have access to most of the data my Hawkeye shows.

    Best regards

    Steve

Pardon my ignorance, but why have a section for "Electronic Diagnostic Systems" in AULRO - if it is going to me automatically moved to the D3/D4/RRS section by mods?

It seems to me, that there are too many sections in AULRO. In this particular case, it is a generic OBD reader - nothing to do with D3/D4/RRS! It could also be moved into the RR, Freelander, Evoque, or any other section for cars with ODB2 ports.

Steve - as this is a generic system, I very much doubt it could replicate the output from Hawkeye or other marque-specific readers.

I moved it from D3/D4/RRS to Diagnostics precisely because it wasn't a D3/D4/RRS specific topic. It has only been moved the once - I just checked the log. I think you may be misreading the 10-hour redirect on the D3/D4/RRS menu. Regrettably, many in that section of the forum don't know that there are other areas on AULRO.

Here are some pics of the software would be great to see coolant temperature etc.

Don't expect it to do any diagnostics though but who knows

May give this a go when I return

It'd be interesting to hear what you think, Steve. I have a ScanGauge II in my Rangie but for maintenance, I also have a RovaCom.
