Thread: Nanocom instrument mode not working....?

We are having an issue with a Nanocom Evo.
On a 2.2 Defender it communicates with the EMS and the Instrument pack with no apparent problems (ABS is boch on these ones and there's no software module for it yet ), however the instrument mode won't work.

When opening the instrument mode it tries to communicate, fails, and then turns off.

Re-setting the CANBUS on the Def. has been suggested, but I can't see how this would solve the problem; unless instrument mode communicates with more than one ecu; and to that does it communicate to the ABS ecu, which would explain everything.

When I do a pin test on the nanocom (with the ignition off) all test okay except the CANBUS.

Also, do you need to cycle the ignition before you go between the EMS and instrument cluster modules?
