I'm pretty sure the only editing I did to that post was changing the wording of the sdcard formatting section at the end, and possibly a couple of other minor corrections. Anyway no matter.

A lot of what I've found about SDCards is the direct result of having to deal with the aftermath of bricking my ECU twice when Nanocom .map uploads failed mid stream.

Fortunately the change in the .map upload process makes it impossible to brick an ecu as a result of problems reading from SDCard. You can still brick ECU's but the card is not going to be a factor.
