According to the Nanocom
The immobiliser and alarm have been disabled.
Time will tell how it will perform as the fob battery has yet to fall thru.
I did it the other day and was not difficult thanks to the advice given here.
I had to remove and recharge the battery and I was a bit concerned that when power was reconnected the ECU, Becm settings would revert to a factory default. Apparently not. Good.
I have taken the thingy for a 30k drive around the block a couple of times
and then checked with the Nanocom, bits still disabled. Good, I will now put it in the glovebox and go my merry way.
Cheers.
PS: I now only have to sort this fracking eas and then the Bitch can be returned to The Bro.
