    TD5 auto d2 electrical nightmare

My td5 has had a cold start issue for a few weeks now. I've had 5 mechanics tell me they don't know what could cause this issue. amv, ritters, rover land, auto mechs and some other mod in SA

situation is on cold start the motor runs rough then comes good by itself. sometimes there's no revs in park but when it rev up in park and neutral then put it into gear and there's no response on the throttle again.

put it back into n or park and it revs. put it to gear and noting. I do this for a few minuets then it sorts itself out and comes good then drives normally for the rest of the day while hot.

New cylinder head has gone in.
New injector seals and washers done,
amv swooped out the ecu to see if that was stuffed, wasn't it
    no faults showing up.
tested the voltage on the accelerator on cold start that's reading fine.
    fuel pressure is right.
glow plugs are new. and I tested them and they do work.

amv said it could be a leaking injector filling up a cylinder overnight this they said the ecu wont rev the motor up until the fuel is clear. but I don't buy that. it doesn't explain going to park and it revs going to d and its not..

maf senor is also new. map is working, water temp is working.

does anyone have an idea what to look at next?..

spoke to transmission auto wholesaler in bayswater they said they don't think its auto related.

has anyone ever had a leaking td5 injector?

    G'day
Td5 injectors are surrounded with voodoo and black magic. They are expensive to test, and expensive to replace. One of mine was supposed to be faulty. Leaking fuel into the oil not into the combustion chamber. I suppose the electrical solenoid would have to be stuck open to leak into the cylinder and even then it would be a small amount. To finally cure my rising oil level I ended up with a new AMC head and 5 new genuine injectors. Have you changed the injector harness? I have a manual so it could have something to do with the auto XYZ ( is that what it is called?).
    Regards
