    VE 1.33 Released for Faultmate

The latest version 1.33 of vehicle explorer available is on the BBS website for those with Faultmate. Have not tried it as yet.

The release of VE1.33 has had various fixes without change of version number. You can usually tell its been changed by change in file size when stored on disk. I used link below to get an MD5 hash as well.
MD5 check sums generated from Online MD5|SHA1 Hash Generator For File And Text
The date is when I downloaded the ones I have seen.
The a-e are my suffixes to VE1.33 to identify the different downloads all branded V1.33.

VE1.33e seems to fix the licence issue with the D4 transmission module.

    Graeme,

I just downloaded it again at a later date. You can't tell its different until you see its size when downloaded. I have done the MD5 thing in case the size does not change but content does.

BBS just update the Ve133.exe file under the link, no indication anywhere it has changed.

This general statement on the download page covers it.

The link has been updated to fix a couple of issues. Please see the relevant threads, download and update VE as required

I'll have to check which version I'm using.....

    Hmmm, 1.28a

I rarely use Faultmate so I'll have to read up on how to update the software.

I hope I remember my BBS password, it's been yonks since I logged on there.

BBS seem to be in the dark ages in some respects and their customer relations isn't exactly flash either. No post to say that they've had another stab at fixing the bug.

The version I downloaded 2 days ago occupies exactly the same disk space as the last one I tried that still wouldn't allow access to the transmission ecu. Hence I didn't try to update the device, the process being so prone to failed communications but perhaps due to my serial to USB converter lead. I thought you must have found a reference to another link.

    Graeme,
Sorry, only thought it worked, was in demo mode so licence not checked.
They have sent a patch to me tonight, now seems to attempt communication. (not connected to vehicle at moment ).

I have sent a PM to you.

    Regards
    Gerry
