    Clearing Codes

    Oigh -
    Is there an easy way to "clear" the codes from my Disco 1 ('95 gas) so the "Check Engine" light goes OUT from the Instrument panel?

    Disconnect the battery and reconnect?? It used to work for me - sometimes. Obviously if the fault continues the check engine light will remain.

    normally if your's is NAS spec you must have a fault code display under the passenger seat, simply disconnecting/reconnecting the battery is not the solution, there is a standard procedure for that, read this carefully http://www.robisonservice.com/servic...ouble.asp#1990 some pics about the display here Land Rover On Board Diagnostics Codes - Pangaea Expeditions
