    Nanocom Purchase Confusing

    Maybe its just me.
I have been on the Blackbox Solutions website and found one price in AUD then checked Ebay and found another price in AUD (Blackbox Solutions)
The Ebay price is about $300.00 dearer.
    What am I not seeing?

    Hi cjrosso,

I assume you are wanting it for a Discovery 2?... Td5 or V8?

Without links to the two things you saw..I am only guessing, but you can buy the Nanocom specific to one model or multiple models( at a cost.)..

Also depending on which car you select they are different prices.. for example a V8 D2 version is A$402 while the D4 is A$541

The ones I saw on Ebay where is English pounds and then converted to Aus too..

Better to buy directly from Blackbox.

Think I will go with BBS direct, can't understand why ebay is so much dearer.

There is a rigmarole to go through to get the discount from BBS for Aulro members.Make sure you are aware of the procedure before you order.

I thought BBS had dropped the AULRO discount a month or so back. There was a post from Colin about it.

Edit: I just checked, yes there was a post from BBS about it but that thread has since been deleted (I can still read the deleted thread).

Thanks P38arover, I thought I was going blind at the time as I had seen the post from BBS then it disappeared! Thought it must be hidden somewhere.

I asked BBS about the difference in costs from their main web site and the Ebay shop they have and was told it is down to the fact that Ebay have other charges that have to be included for businesses apparently.

Also if you want to cover additional vehicles you have to purchase direct as Ebay prevent them from adding anything to the original posting
