    Wink problemssss

Hi everyone, i have been having issues with my 2000 td5 disco... usually at full throttle I get surging and now it's changed , I can no put my foot flat to the floor and the engine won't rev past 2500. I've checked everything that's common, disconnecting maf made no difference.

I recently replaced a leaking fuel pressure regulator and it solved my problems for about 2 weeks and now it's back.

So does any one near Windsor NSW have a good scan tool I could use? Thanks guys

List of potentials in no particular order:

    1. Stuck turbo waste-gate
    2. Faulty waste-gate modulator
    3. failing fuel pump
    4. delaminating hoses (usually accompanied by lots of smoke out the back and now power)
    5. Faulty MAF

Do you have a Nanocom or similar?

About the highlighted part, beside the things you've already done and those suggested by Tombie did you check the strainer under the FPR to not be clogged?(nr 5 here Allbrit.de - Ersatzteile für LAND ROVER & MG ROVER ), it's the last "gate" before the injectors ... maybe it's full of muck but got a bit resurected when you removed the FPR and now is making trouble again...it can give exactly that kind of symptom... it's not sure that that's the problem but it's something to be ruled out especially if there are no fault codes cos the fuel supply is not covered by diagnostics so better read fault codes first and remove the FPR only if no result with that
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
