OBD port to display.....

G'day all....

my son has a multifunction digital display that plugs directly into his OBD port on his VW.

the display mounts neatly in about 1/3 of his a/c outlet.

does anyone know of a similar unit that can be simply plugged into the D2 OBD port for the same result?

in fact #1 son has one in his Skoda.

Thanks. Had a look at the link before posting. I should have clarified because I know that not all potential features work on a D2, and was wondering which ones people have actually had functioning.

NOTE: Some features and functions of the ScanGauge II may not work in your vehicle if it is not fully OBD2 compatible. Call us to confirm compatibility if in doubt.

ATF temp is one questionable that comes to mind as is fuel economy. It would also appear from the link that there are 3 models of which only one (II) is of significant use ie
II,
E - fuel economy only?) and
D? but D without OBDII interface!
If you have time a list would be helpful/nice. Cheers

Q So Evo, unless it works for the D2 v8, presumably you don't have a D2, which was the subject of the original question/s in the thread?
