Sounds interesting Gary, what is different/better about v4 compared to previous versions?
A couple of weeks ago I decided I was going to bite the bullet and get a copy of the EAS v4 unlock from RSW Solutions. It now requires licensing as well as a dedicated USB-OBD11 cable which all comes with the kit. Well today I tried it out. In a word BRILLIANT. For less than US$200 I reckon it is really good value, and it works on WIN 8.1.

Previous version was EAS only, now it's the full package

Yeah I bought one also. Very impressed with it as there are plenty of things you can do on it. It would be nice if there was a diagnostic function for the brakes and gearbox but you never know, they may come as an upgrade soon.
Rather than start a new thread about this product, I thought I'd ask about it in here instead.
Does anyone else use the EAS V4?
It seems that mine talks to everything it's designed to communicate with but it's very slow to read the actual EAS ECU. The EAS V4 unlock sends a request which is the Tx light flashing but the EAS ECU will not talk back which is the Rx light flashing.
Only giving it multiple, and I mean multiple goes that I eventually get some codes and then clear them.
I've emailed Storey but thought I'd ask if anyone here in Australia has some little trick or advice for me.
Cheers
Mark
I had an overpressure type fault the day before my trip north and pulled out the EASv4 toy. It still took my unit multiple attempts to wake my EAS ECU but did the job as asked. I don't know if my issue is with my laptop being Windows 10 or not.
I have one of RSW Solutions cables but I've not been able to get it to work. I'm not sure which version of the software is required. I have previously used his free software with a home made cable and my old O2 Xda IIi smart phone.
