Gday Jerry
I have the IIDtool. I didn't know other tools suited the L322 tdv8.
Hi Folks,
Just for the record, and for those that may own a Hawkeye Diagnostic tool, I have just successfully upgraded to Version 7, was on V5.
I did it by requesting the disc, as where I live I could not download the 250mb+ file which is on the Bearmach website.
Its free.
I use mine on my L322 and V7 is much better and more expansive. Mine is also unlocked for the D2.
Cheers, Jerry

G'day rar110,
Yes it does and its quite detailed to. I'd say you have the more versatile tool The Hawkeye is like having a chunky Fisher Price Kids toy in your hands, it is tough.
The other great thing with it is you can help anyone with a L322 in the world as its unlocked for all models over every year.
I bought it for the D2 V8 I had in Lae PNG and again I can help anyone any where who has the V8 or TD5.
Cheers, Jerry
The difference between hawkeye and any other tools is that it's made by Omitec the builder of T4 Testbook main dealer's tool on the same protocol while other tools are a kinda' "clones"... v.7 has nothing for D2 but it contains the v.6 which has the height calibration feature... IMO even if it seems rudimentary it's a very reliable and comprehensive tool

Agreed Fery,
For the L322, V7 was a major improvement. I found with the D2 it was good as originally set up.
The draw back with using on the L322 is you require 3 different plug adaptors (D2,RED,BLACK) to access all functions, so a little bit cumbersome if going through everything.
Live data readings are very useful.
Cheers, Jerry
I have it for my D3 and seems to be good so far. I haven't really needed it for much so no going to complain.
Cheers Ean
