    Nanocom query

Can you plug in the Nanocom, when the engine is running?
That is plugging the cable into the data port?

    Thanks

    Nanocom query

As far as I am aware this doesn't pose a problem. One of the ways to "wake it" if it has turned off is to unplug and plug it in again. Shouldn't make a difference as far as I understand. It only communicates to the ecu etc at certain times while performing functions.

You'd best wait for some confirmation though... I'm super new to my Nanocom Evo II.

    Cheers Wil.

Yes, but make sure you don't ever do the reverse ie leave it plugged into the OBDII port and then try and connect to the Nanocom port.

As has been stated, You can happily live plug into the OBDII socket regardless of if the engine is running or not.

But always ensure you connect the Nanocom to the lead first

BECAUSE THEY SPARK IF YOU TRY.
Maybe a warning sticker on the back of the unit might warn people?
