Gap diagnostics tool vs 4d can

    Hi Guys
I was talking to Graeme re the suspension fault i've got and he recommended the Gap Diagnostics IID tool. Things are a little tight on the paesos front so 600 dollars is more than i want to spend right now. The 4d can software and dongle seem a lot more keenly priced. Could anyone advise on the relative merits of either system? I will need one or the other to diagnose this suspension issue I'm having.
    Thanks

$600 is steep but i did buy the IID Tool for the simple reason that it can change the tyre diameter and so correct the speedo after we put slightly larger tyres on. It's since been used to bleed the ABS brake system after a brake booster replacement and level the suspension (playing ) and will soon be used to deflate the airbags for strut replacement. By then it will probably have paid for itself. It also revealed why the brake light all of a sudden came on, broken brake wear sensor line.

The ability to correct the speedo swung it for me.
