    New Nanocom unlock codes

    Hi All,
I am the worlds biggest dope when it comes to computer things [Hell! i can't even understand Computers for Dummies] anyway I just registered my new Nano for the D2a and could only find 2 unlock codes [1 and 3] that i downloaded.
Is this all of the codes or did i miss some on another page perhaps, it's just the Nanocom from the group buy no add-ons or extras.

    Thanks for any help.

Pretty easy to use once you get it plugged in!
What was your main purpose for buying?

Quick tip, read the initial instructions re connection etc make sure you have the Nanocom plug end connected first apparently it'll blow fuses if done the other way round??

When using and have car off in programme/fault code mode than you want to go to instrument mode by starting the car the Nanocom will power off and not restart until you unplug and reconnect.
So if I wanted to use instrument mode I'll start the car then plug in Nanocom then go to instrument mode.

    Hope this helps?

Plenty of info on the Nanocom forum (on the black box web site) can ask question on there was well.

    Cheers Lemo

Thanks for those tips Lemo, the main reason for buying a Nano was to clear faults and hopefully avoid limp home mode or rely on a mechanic somewhere who knows as little as myself about Landrovers or a towing fee.
But I do think they are a essential piece of gear to have in the toolbox i you intend to do repairs yourself.
I had a breakdown in my Tipper once it cost $860 to tow it home and i repaired for $2 in parts plus a days labour, could not do it on the side of the road and I swore not to let it happen again if possible.
