    Tinkering

Is there a quick and easy way with nanocom to tell if a previous owner has modified/tuned/messed around with the ECU Fuel Map?

Read the map from the ECU using the Nanocom.
If the Nanocom says it can't read the map it's definitely been tuned.

If you can read the .map file, download a copy of Td5MapEditor and open the .map file.
Tick the "show only modified maps" check box.
If its been tuned you see the "fuel maps" and "torque limiter" are modified, possibly a few other things.

If it's got a TRS tune the map ID will be for a base map that LR obsoleted in 2002 and neither Td5MapEditor or Nanocom Map wizard support....

But start by trying to read the .map from the ECU.
