TD5SPY diagnostic and monitoring
I have a very old Nanocom first generation. It's clunky and a bit intermittent in general. I've looked at the flashy newer nanocoms and struggle to justify the cost.
Anyway I stumbled across this product which has been developed. It's an OBD2 dongle that works with proprietary software on your phone.

I thought I'd give it a whirl as it would offer me some great monitoring primarily. If it works it will allow me to have instant and trip fuel consumption which I think would be very handy at time, as well as proper monitoring of all normal parameters.
If you're **really** bored you may wish to look at the video of the output from my first drive. Was just around town so a lot of sitting and idling. Frankly it's raised a heap of questions that I don't have answers for at this point. Battery voltage is quite high at times, and the turbo hits 1.1bar under boost ("Reduce throttle!"). The injector balance seems to be wild. Not sure what this all means. I've been warned that my ecu may be failing in the past. I have the original factory un molested ECU which might make a come back.
If the fuel consumption is indeed accurate that's going to be a big deal.
