I have a 2013 RR Evoque which I used to LOVE!. This problem started happening about 6 months after I bought the car secondhand. I purchased it in Winter, the problem started in Summer (this is important).

When sitting stopped in traffic, lets say, at the traffic lights, when taking the foot off the brake, but without touching the accelerator, the car jerks forward quite violently.

I booked it in with me local LR dealer to have this looked at, and figured I may as well have it serviced while there. I am an hour away from the closest LR service centre, so took time off work and waited while it was in the repair shop.

Long story short, they did service it but was told they had run out of time to look at the problem. I was told to bring it back for an 'assessment' of the problem for $600 - I asked and they clarified that this did not include any repair work.

I have since taken the car to a local European car specialist (not LR) and had the transmission serviced (twice), a new transmission battery installed and serviced the Haldex System.

The problem continues.

Thing is (now here's the kicker) LR have a Bulletin regarding this problem. I found it, but because I found it no one wants to actually apply the fix (a software update).

I emailed it to my local LR service centre and requested this software update. My local LR service centre will not return my calls or emails and didn't even get back to me to tell me they had the software (I had it booked in 3 weeks after sending them the bulletin).

I have complained to LR Customer Relations and was told that the bulletin I found was apparently not for this market (North America only), therefore could not be applied to my vehicle.

But, again Google found me another, which is an update on the original and applies to ALL MARKETS WORLDWIDE (yes I did a happy dance when I saw it).

Apparently it's secret squirrel stuff and I was never meant to see it. I can't get it done anywhere else but a LR service centre and after many calls and a visit to the dealership I finally have it booked in for the 13th Sept
But they can't even give a rough estimate of cost!

So just wondering if anyone else here has had the same problem, and did you get it fixed, and at what cost?
