    Code reader for FL1 KV6

    Hi ladies and gents,
Just wondered if anyone could suggest a code reader that will talk to a KV6 ECU?
Got our petrol FL1 back from our daughter about a year ago with multiple misfires. I’ve finally gotten around to changing all the plugs and coils and it’s *significantly* better, but there’s still probably one misfire and I want to find *which* cylinder it is and go from there.
I was gifted an iCarsoft, but it doesn't talk to the ECU (but does other systems) and will need something that can drill down to cylinder level.

For context, yes the fuel is now 12 months old and since we’ve owned it, the connector plug has been missing from the coil on cylinder 5. The connectors were there and the coil then filled with silicone. I have a new plug ready to go on, but for initial start-up just pushed the connectors onto the pins of the new coil - not a lot of room in there - so maybe shorting across the connectors?
Looking at the plugs I took out, I don’t think I have any reason, at this stage, to suspect HGF.

    Any suggestions appreciated.
    Cheers
    Mike

Thanks DG, I’ll check that out.
Been a member of Muddy Freelander for years, but not a lot of V6s surviving in the UK (too thirsty for most), so hard to track down info, I think the US is where the majority still exist and might see if there’s somewhere over there…

    Cheers!
