Does your model need to have the computer told it has a new battery?
I need some help please from more experienced people than myself. I have a 2013 LR319 Discovery 4 twin turbo. I had the vehicle parked for about 8 weeks and decided to charge the battery. Disconnected the main battery and charged it up. I mention this as it seems too coincidental that I had the following fault occur.
A couple of days later when I started the car it showed a Restricted Performance message on the screen. I used my Gap 11D tool but it showed no faults. I cleared faults any way but still no faults showed on the Gap tool. I disconnected the negative battery post for 20 minutes but no affect still the same, Restricted Performance still showing on screen.
Any smart tips on this please.
thank you regards

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
After 8 weeks its possible turbo actuators arent playing smoothly... I have seen this before...
As it turned out it was the mass flow sensor B. I ordered two from LR Parts UK on a Friday and they arrived on the Monday. Replaced and all is well.
cheers
