    S**t!!!!!
I have missed the 4pm cutoff

I'm up for one big time!

5teve - I pass Kinross every day on the way to Joondy for work so would be happy to pick up if I haven't blown it

Though I would like the PC cable so I can attach to the laptop.....

Missed the 4pm deadline. So where are we at with this.

I think we have a couple of people in Adelaide who are very interested also.

If you can let us know what is happening that would be great !

whats the cost of each unit and whats the cost of a bulk buy.....

if buying in bulk is cheaper.....why are people getting them individually instead of one big order for the bulk discount.......

and what about freight costs.......my sister works for a freight company and might even be able to get
a better price on the freight maybe......?

and....who do i get one from if i want one as well......
    im all confused.......
Stu works for a company here in perth and they have got a buy from the suppliers (wherever they may be) at a discounted rate.

im sure if you contact him he will be able to sort it out.. even if its on a next shipment. im sure he wont let you miss out!

Landyandy if you missed the deadline and dont get one...im sure i could sort a loan out of mine... we keep on talking about running south (if i remember where you are) for you guys who missed 4pm maybe send him a PM too as the email was his work one. hopefully he would of ordered a few more on top of the order....

2rocks if you do get one i dont mind picking it up (if you pay for it over the phone) and either dropping it off with you or have you pick it up from my place rovacom is in bayswater not far from where i work.

    Thanks

forgot to say Rovacom have a sydney office that should be able to place a direct order soon (as stew suggested it may be a few weeks) so then you can get local shipping or pickup. either that or you could ask stew to order it and then post it to you for however much he suggested. im sure he wont mind if you ask nice

    Thanks

A while ago I enquired with that manufacturer about taking on their TD5 product to distribute here in Australia, they didn't seem to like the fact I already shift the Faultmate product from Blackbox.

I enquired with Blackbox about Nanocom, response was:
EDIT - They didn't think much of it.

So it would seem both companies have competitive products albeit at very different price points. Being partial to V8s I wonder what the operational differences would be between Faultmate and Nanocom, apart from the obvious - the latter is designed to work mostly with Defenders and not all Land Rovers like the former.
I hope the NANOCOMS do the job, they certainly appear to be a nifty little 'low cost' unit.

It appears to me that the Nanocom started life not so long ago as a TD5-only diagnostic tool, and has grown a little since. It doesn't seem to have any V8 engine capabilities but may still show and clear V8 ecu faults, but maybe not. The other ecus, eg the immobiliser, SLABS and BCU when its done, are not engine-specific and should work on V8s. It's not very refined in its operation but is getting better all the time, although I don't think much of their implementation of the trip meter facility. It reminds me of the original ScanGauge tool compared with the current ScanGauge II, still undergoing early development.

I like the way its software and firmware is upgradeable via the internet and wonder what it will eventually do. I'd like it to provide a fuel consumption facility too but there's been no suggestion of that.

For this special price I think its great.
