I built my own version of a Rovair which I will take with me.

I posted pics under a thread called "EAS manual controller" or similar.

I have carefully soldered one end of a DB25 cable into the back of the ECU harness so I can readily connect my manual controller and bypass the ECU altogether.

I now also have the EAS unlock tools on the laptop and have made up the OBD2 connector.

So did you guys end up getting together and have a mess around with air suspension.??

Sorry I wasn't able to make it.....I was on holidays and didn't see the message.

If you still want a D2 to look over, let me know. As I'm still interested in replacing the LR compressor with a better one, and having an aux air line foir inflating tyre, etc.

    Cheers

I got an adaptor made up that allows inflation of the system via a nitto fitting and use of the compresor but It wasnt as I Intended it to be I snafu'd at work and grabbed the 1/4 inch line as opposed to the required 6mm.

I have some of that now and if time permits I'll square that up and start looking at the next phases...

(Ive done a thread on it somewheres)

    Wink EAS replacement parts

    Hi, my name is Dean,

A big thanks to all for the ideas and advice posted here.

I have recently joined, found this group at a moment of desperation, EAS issues. I have found my problem to be a worn compressor piston seal, so that needs replacing but have also seen that the bags could do with replacement. I am also Brisbane based and would like know if anyone can direct me to where the best place to get these parts would be? Also reading from the Rover renovations site the Arnott GenIII springs look the business but with a freight cost of $600US it is big time offputting. Does anyone know if there is an Australian supplier of these springs? or an OME equivelent?

    Cheers

$600 freight seems to be an error. Is that a price from Rover Renovations or from Arnotts?

In Brissie, try the Hard Range Australia: HRA - Suspension

It was UPS quoted by Rover Renovations.

    Thanks for the advice.

Airbag Man right here in Brisbane, can supply new airbags (not the Arnotts though) and the compressor parts.
