    nanocom reads torque!

so i was playing around with the nanocom reading my asb faults. i noticed that in the def abs section under input there is one thats ''engine torque (N/m)''???

at idle i was reading 040N/m...with a slight push on the pedal it went up
so, is this an accurate reading and where would the ecu get its info from??

    cheers phil

My understanding of measuring torque is under load, in the highest gear, from memory.

I'm trying this now, in a parked state it read 0 & with some revs 1 or 2. I'll take a spin around the block & report back

AARGH! Bloody thing! I've either got a bad connection somewhere or mine is dodgy. Can't even get it to connect at the moment.

the nanocom torque reading is a calculated figure and while reasonabley accurate wont be "dyno accurate"...
