    Nanocom idle speed error???

Can anyone tell me what this means on my nanocom unit?
I am trying to identify uneven idle/acceleration, could this be a cause?
I have noticed that my td5 runs heaps better on colder evenings and far more responsive!
    Cheers

Idle speed error reading is the difference between the nominal idle speed, [ 750 rpm- I think] and the actual egine speed.
So for example, if you throttle up to 1000rpm, Nanocom will show +250.

I stand to be corrected, but at idle it normally shows +/- 10 [ish]

    Hi Bronson
ANY turbo intercooled motor will run better on a cold evening.
Cold dense air=more oxygen=more horsepower.Plus the intercooler cools better giving the same result.

Thanks for your replies, I'm still trying to understand how the idle can vary and when you give the accelerator a sharp tap the revs drop to a nicer level. Could a sensor or the like be abit dicky?
    Thanks bronson

Starting to sound like a throttle switch problem. BUT- so far as I know, if this switch is faulty, the engine will only idle.
Suggest, using Nanocom, have a look and see if there is any change in the 2/3 way switch voltage before and after you have 'sharp tapped'.
