I'm having bad flashbacks

Had the same thing happen to me. In my case it wasn't the throttle/potentiometer assembly (had it changed) but rather the electrical contacts in the connector (to the the TPS) were slighly spread and causing intermittent faults.

Not nice having to restart going through the Sydney Harbourt Tunnel.....
